Video Patient Testimonials: An important, but often avoided marketing tool
You’ve heard it before, “Ask your best patients to be your biggest advocates.” While it may seem a little uncomfortable at first to ask patients for a testimonial, you would be pleasantly surprised how many patients are willing to give one. Patients who have voiced their appreciation and satisfaction with their experience to you and your team are great candidates for video testimonials. We have a few tips on how to get that great patient to step up and become your biggest advocate:
- Peas and carrots
If a staff member is close to the patient or seems to have a good connection, ask them to ask the patient. - The writing is on the wall
Let patients know via signs in the waiting room, front desk, consult room, and operatory that testimonials are welcomed. - Directly from the horse’s mouth
Depending on the demeanor of the practitioner, have them ask the patient if they would like to give a video testimonial.
